36 Week Ultrasound

Okay, so here's the deal. My fluid levels are still on the low side of normal...but normal nonetheless. I still go for bi-weekly fetal non-stress tests, which baby has been passing with flying colors. I have another ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday the 30th. I have been told that I will not be going past my due date. So, if this one, like the rest, refuses to leave on her own we will take matters into our own hands on or near June 16th. Woo hoo!

Bet you're all dying to know her name. We leave nothing else up to the imagination, so thank you for indulging us (and by us I mean me) in our little name secret drama surprise thingy.

35 Week Ultrasound

Just when you get lulled into a false sense of security...

Okay, so baby girl is causing unnecessary drama once again. She is measuring a bit on the small side, but still healthy at 5 lbs 2 oz. However, my fluid levels are a bit on the low side of normal. They measure a "7" which is within reason but if they get any lower it would be concerning. So, I had to go for a fetal stress test, where they hook you up to the monitors and watch the baby's movements and heartbeat. The test is supposed to take 30 minutes to an hour, but this baby girl is so active that they kicked me out after 20 minutes. Needless to say she's fine.

So, bottom line is, I have another stress test this Saturday and a follow-up ultrasound on Wednesday followed by yet another stress test. I'm also supposed to "take it easy". Yeah, right, me, Alex and Conner will just "take it easy" together.

Anyway...seems like more much ado about nothing. I have no doubt she will make her entrance late, just like the boys, and a healthy 7 lbs. Time will tell.

As of May 16: 35 wks 4 days
Official due date: June 16th.
