A Whole New Year
I am thankful that:
- Alex threw up at 9 PM last night instead of 1 AM
- Our wonderful friends, the Chiodos, had a New Years Eve party that started at 3 PM and included 8 kids all under the age of 4
- My husband knows me better than anyone else, and still loves me
- Conner is starting to use the potty
- Allison is not trying to stand up yet (just lay on the floor and be stationary lovey!)
- The kids have three great-grandmas
- Emily did not throw up despite the fact that she was at our house three hours before Alex did
- My sister-in-law is a wonderful friend
- Reza & Teresa are constantly being dragged back East for family functions thus giving us the opportunity to see them
- I have such wonderful parents (all six of them now)
- My sister is moving back East!
- I got a Hippopotamus for Christmas
- My children are happy and healthy
- I slept for 6 hours in a row last night
- I forgot to turn the monitor back on after the midnight feeding
- Allison smiled at me this morning even though I forgot to turn the monitor back on after the midnight feeding
- We didn't overcook the prime rib for Christmas Dinner
- My husband loves to cuddle
- It's a whole new year and Alex will turn 5, but he's still my baby, and Conner will turn 3, but he's still my baby, and Allison will turn 1, but she's still my baby, and I will never have to wear maternity clothes again because my family is perfect.
